The Chief Executive of the National Unity Government of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah left for a 2-day official to Indonesia, on an official invitation of the Vice President of the country Jusuf Kalla.
The Office of the Chief Executive in a statement said CE Abdullah is leading a delegation of high level government officials during his visit to Indonesia.
The statement further added that Chief Executive Abdullah will hold talks with the President of Indonesia Joko Widodo, members of the Religious Clerics Council of Indonesia, Election Commission members, and other government officials.
He will hold talks regarding the expansion and strengthening of bilateral ties between Afghanistan and Indonesia and implementation of the agreements between the two nations.
Chief Executive Abdulllah will also hold talks regarding the bilateral economic and trade ties, Indonesias role in Afghan reconciliation, and some other key issues of bilateral interest.
According to the Office of the Chief Executive, Mr. Abdullah is accompanied by Trade and Commerce Minister, Deputy High Peace Council Chief, Deputy Economy Minister, and some Afghan traders.
